12/8/2008 Lesson

Tonight we are going to be covering Anatomy and Physiology as well as First Aid. The lesson will start at 7:30 PM and take approximately 2.5 hours. We will take a break halfway through the lesson this evening. Have a great day.

Lesson Update for 11/10/2008

Our next lesson is going to be this coming Monday, November 10 starting at 7:30 PM. We will be covering:

1. Fecal Exams
2. Blood Exams
3. Urine Exams
4. Applying Bandages

I know that we talked last night about covering Genetics on Tuesday night. I have another meeting that night (Sorry). Would you rather have the lesson on Sunday or Wednesday of next week?

Also, if there are any additional lessons that you would like to cover please let me know.

Summer VQR

The latest edition on the Veterinary Quarterly Review (VQR) is now available on our website. This is an excellent source of information for everyone to read to learn about current issues. If you have any questions please call or email me at adement@cvm.tamu.edu.

Monday!

This is just a reminder that we will be starting the Centra classes again this coming Monday (Sept 8) at 7:30 PM. We will be covering:

1. Dietary Management of Small Animals
2. Diseases Common to Animal And People

Please have these 2 sections read prior to the meeting. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact me.

Centra Updated

Ok, so this morning I went through and updated the Centra classes through December. You need to check and make sure that you are enrolled in the course. If you are not, go ahead and enroll even if you know that you may not be able to make the scheduled time. If you are enrolled it is easier to watch the playback. Have a great day and let me know if you have any questions. Hope that your first week of school is going well.

Online Classes

I have finished the latest version of the online lessons for those students who have 1-2 years to complete the project. If you do not receive an email with the attached .pdf please send me an email so that I can add you to my list. We will be starting the new year on September 8, 2008 with lessons starting at 7:30 PM on Centra.

CVM Open House Set

Open House has been set for Saturday April 25, 2009 from 9:00-4:00. Everyone is welcome to attend. We are still planning on doing the Statewide Veterinary Science Lesson on that Friday evening. I am working on the agenda and need some ideas for lessons that you would like taught. Please either post to this blog or email me at adement@cvm.tamu.edu.
